シェイクスピアのヘンリー八世を読んだよ / i read Shakespeare's 'Henry VIII'

漫画とか，ミュージカルの影響でヘンリー八世とその奥さんにすごい興味わいた．

大学の図書館で，松岡和子さん訳のヘンリー八世を読んだ．てっきり６人全員出てくるのかと思ってたが，戯曲の中では2人だけだった． でも大満足！読んで良かった．

特に，好きだったシーンをメモしておく．

グリフィスがウルジーのよかったところをキャサリン妃に言うシーン．

それをウルジーと険悪な感じになってた自分の主人に提案できるのも，それを聞き入れるキャサリン妃も． すごいなあって感じだ．

I become interested in Henry VIII because of a comic and a musical.

So, I rented Shakespeare’s ‘Henry VIII’, translated by Kazuko Matsuoka, from the college library.

I thought all of Henry’s wifes would apper, but they do not. In the play, Only the first two wives apper.

But it is very enjoyable and worth reading.

Here, I note the secen I liked:

The scene where Griffith tells Queen Katharin what was good about Wolsey.

How could she propose it to her own master, who was having a hard time with Wolsey, and how could Queen Katharine listen to her… It’s amazing.
